पेड़ बहुत खुश हुआ…!!
सोचा, मर कर ही सही, उल्लुओं से पीछा तो छूटा।
मगर पेड़ की खुशी…
उस वक़्त ख़ाक में मिल गई जब…
उसकी लकड़ी से…
संसद भवन की कुर्सियाँ बना दी गयीं…
तारीख़ गवाह है आज भी…
उन कुर्सियों पर ‘ऊल्लू’ ही बैठते हैं…!!
